kontakpublik.id, PECENONGAN--Informal routine discussion Monday-Thursday, February 9, 2026 at GMRI Secretariat, Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No. 4 A Central Jakarta. HE. Asep Saefullah, Director of General Affairs Headquarters of The World Peace Committee, dropped by with Romo Bios Abiyoso to discuss GMRI's program on global spiritual diplomacy being prepared for muhibbah to various neighboring countries in the near future.
The concept of global spiritual diplomacy ideally covers economic, political, social, cultural, and religious issues that are adopted as part of comprehensive and sustainable attention to strengthen friendship and brotherhood among nations in the world. Therefore, economic, political, social, cultural, and religious relations will be maximally synergized in harmony with balanced and equal relations for human dignity. This global spiritual diplomacy is very strategic to introduce the ancestral culture of the Nusantara nation to the world.
Therefore, the "Kitab MA HA IS MA YA" which can be used as a reference and guide for muhibbah visits needs to be translated into various foreign languages, especially English. The content of the "Kitab MA HA IS MA YA" clearly carries the desire to unite humans to live in harmony through the universal language of the earth for all humanity, although not all nations in the world recognize this earth language, or the language of heaven as believed by Prof. Ravik Karsidi, a sociologist of education from Sebelas Maret University, Solo and lecturer at Indramayu State Polytechnic.
GMRI's global spiritual diplomacy program is relevant to President Prabowo Subianto's diplomatic strategy which seems to position Indonesia in global international relations, so as to provide significant added value to the progress of the Indonesian nation and state in the increasingly rapid world civilization entering an unlimited area triggered by super modern technology. This was expressed by Sri Eko Sriyanto Galgendu who linked the theme of global spiritual diplomacy carried by GMRI with ecotheology - as environmental awareness based on religious guidance - which is in sync with the topic of the awakening movement of awareness and spiritual understanding which is now time to go international as a tradition and culture of the noble Nusantara nation.
Ecotheology itself is closely related to ecology and theology related to humans, nature, and God. The most important essence is to understand and interpret the relationship between faith and the environment and efforts to find ways to preserve and protect the environment as part of spiritual responsibility that includes ethics, morals, and human character as God's representative on earth. Ecotheology as a real form of effort to maintain the balance of human needs with the needs of nature, as well as efforts to maintain attitudes and nature of justice and equality for all living creatures on earth, is relevant to spiritual ecology, environmental theology, and environmental ethics and morals. In the context of Indonesia, ecotheology can be understood as an effort to understand and interpret religious teachings and guidance in the context of the environment - not only physical, but also can be expanded to the inner and spiritual areas of humans that should not wither.
According to the Nusantara Spiritual Guardian, spiritual diplomacy at the global level - to further introduce the traditions, culture, and noble values of the Eastern nation's heritage - as well as to strengthen the position of the Indonesian nation and state in international relations - global spiritual diplomacy needs to be done immediately to solidify the position of the Indonesian nation and state in international relations among nations in the world.
